Hi my name is Léo Noël. I'm a year old french game designer
I studied Game Design for 3 years at Isart Digital (Paris). Then I worked on several project, as much as an indie, or in little structures, than bigger ones like Quantic Dreams or KTM Advance.
Video game enthusiast, I see this medium as a new and amazing way to create strong and emotional focused experiences.
Polyvalent, meticulous and fast learner, I have strong analytics skills that I use to have strong and deep understanding of game design and development problematics.
Curious about everything, I have thirst of knowledge and like to learn, understand and discover new things (science, history, video games, films, music, literature).
Freelance Sept 2021 - Today
After few years away from video game industry, I'm back working on a sound game project. First on the the CNC file, then after it's been validted, on the pre-production.
Quantic Dream April 2017 - March 2018
I worked on Detroit: Become Human, latest game of the studio Quantic Dream and my first AAA game.
My role as Game Builder was to script and integrate game levels.
Leikir Studio October 2014 - June 2015
This is the second part of the project "One Shot One Kill" that became "Wondershot" as we start to work with Leikir Studio to finish and publish the game.
My main role here was to design and produce Game Levels, especially the "Endless" and "Challenge" modes.
Lazy Frogs Team - Indie February 2014 - September 2014
"One Shot One kill" was created during the 25th Ludum Dare (game jam), then developed in a team of three and introduced in few festivals and exhibitions.

Detroit is an interactive drama where choices and their consequences are in the heart of the game experience.
The story Takes place in the city of Detroit in 2038.
In a near future, where human looking androids became the keystone of a whole new society. Detroit, raised of the ashes of its previous crisis, is booming once again.
While the wrath is rising in a part of the population, setted aside by having their job and social place tooked off by androids, some of those androids start to develop feelings and emotions they was not designed to.
Here start the journey of Kara, a handmaid android, trying to escape for the safety of Alice, a young girl she is in charge; Markus, a recent fugitive looking to achieve his ideal of better world; And Connor,
a brand new model of the police force, charged to investigate about recent cases of androids "deviancy" in the Detroit's city.

Wondershot is a fast paced local multi player battle arena.
Only one ammo and one life to defeat your opponents in a chaining of different levels. Miss your shot, and you will have to sneak on the map to pick up a new one, succeed it to get your ammo back instantly.
Wondershot it's also four unique weapons with different abilities and three game mode to use them : Brawl, Endless (co-op) and Challenges (solo)
Initially called "One shot One kill", the project started for the Ludm Dare 28 "You only get one". Developed home with my flat mates, our first objective was to make a good prototype and show it in
the indie section of the Stunfest festival.
The project went further when Leikir Studio contacted us to develop the game to next-gen consoles.
Wondershot was finally released the 19th February 2016 on PS4, XboxOne and Steam.

Die To Stay Alive was my graduation project at Isart Digital..
This is a puzzle game about managing individually a group a of monkeys that you need to sacrifice wisely to resolve enigmas.
The project was finalist to the HitPlaytime contest.

Dragon's Run is a board game realized during my first year at Isart Digital.
"Pick-up, Fight and Flee !", this game is about explorers looking to steal the treasure of a dragon. Each character have different abilities and need to move from room to room to steal as much treasures as they can without being caught by the dragon or other players.
Fight are played with the "Shi-fu-mi" rules instead of the classic dice.
Without graphic designer in our team, we made all visuals based on Wakfu and Dofus.
